Aluminum Doors with Fire Rating

Time:2026-07-22 Views:0

Fire-rated aluminum doors are special functional fire-proof building products that comply with national fire protection standards, integrating aluminum alloy lightweight advantages and professional fire-proof and smoke-isolating performance. Different from traditional steel fire doors which are bulky, easy to rust and ugly, fire-rated aluminum doors use high-strength fire-resistant aluminum alloy profiles as the main frame, filled with inorganic fire-proof core materials that meet fire protection standards, and have passed professional fire detection certification. They have the characteristics of light weight, beautiful appearance, anti-corrosion and rust resistance on the basis of meeting fire resistance, smoke isolation and heat insulation functions, and are widely used in commercial buildings, office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, high-end residential stairwells, pipe wells, fire passages and other fire protection key areas.

In terms of fire protection performance, fire-rated aluminum doors are divided into Class A, Class B and Class C fire protection grades according to the fire resistance limit, which can meet the fire protection requirements of different building scenarios. The door leaf is filled with high-purity magnesium silicate fire-proof board, rock wool fire-proof core and other inorganic fire-proof materials, which have excellent high-temperature resistance and non-combustible performance. It can resist high-temperature flame baking for a long time in case of fire, effectively block the spread of flame and hot smoke, prevent the fire from spreading to other areas, and provide safe evacuation time for personnel. The door frame and door leaf gap are equipped with special fire-proof expansion sealing strips. When encountering high temperature, the strips will expand rapidly to fill the gaps, completely isolate the spread of smoke and toxic gas, and avoid personnel poisoning caused by smoke inhalation in fire accidents.

In terms of structural advantages, compared with traditional steel fire doors, aluminum fire doors have obvious lightweight characteristics. The overall door body is light in weight, flexible in opening and closing, no noise and jamming, and will not cause jamming and difficulty in opening due to excessive weight in emergency evacuation. The aluminum alloy frame has excellent anti-corrosion and anti-rust performance, and will not rust, deform or peel off due to long-term humid environment and air oxidation, avoiding the failure of door body switch caused by rust and deformation, and ensuring that the door body can be opened and closed normally in emergency. The surface of the aluminum door is treated with fire-proof and weather-resistant coating, which is smooth and flat, beautiful in appearance, and can be matched with the overall decoration style of the building, solving the problem that traditional steel fire doors are ugly and affect the overall decorative effect of the space.

In terms of standard compliance and practical application, all fire-rated aluminum doors strictly comply with national building fire protection design standards and have complete fire inspection reports and qualification certificates, which can pass the fire acceptance of all types of buildings. The product has good sealing performance, which can play a daily dust-proof and wind-proof role when not in fire, and will not affect the daily use function of the passage. The diversified door types include fire-rated sliding doors, fire-rated swing doors and fire-rated glass doors, which can meet the fire protection needs of different spaces such as large passage openings, small stairwells and transparent partition passages. The fire-rated glass door adopts fire-proof tempered glass, which can ensure fire and smoke isolation while maintaining space transparency, avoiding the closed and depressed feeling of traditional fully enclosed fire doors. With the dual advantages of professional fire protection performance and modern aesthetic practicality, fire-rated aluminum doors have become the mainstream fire-proof supporting products for modern new buildings and old building renovation.
